This sluggish ghoulish show is like an underground “Phantom of the pera” for the punk set — or maybe the punk-lite set. Not that it captures punk’s edge; more than anything the songs sound like wan witless covers of Meat Loaf’s power ballads. Give the Landless Theatre Company credit for finding a fresh niche for unearthing raw little musicals only… “You can picture the show working better if (a) the three-piece band packed more punch and (b) there were more ideas in the staging. As it is director (and musical director) Baughman doesn’t get much life in his static arrangements of the doomed women nor does he get enough mileage from the period photos and headlines projected on the back wall. And the music — the ostensible hook — doesn’t have enough kick to keep the show’s 65 minutes from dragging. Yours Truly Jack the Ripper musical concept by Jeremy "Frogg" Moody narrative by David J. Directed by Andrew Lloyd Baughman. Set and light design John Sadowsky; costumes Elizabeth D.

Muzik a relatively new music school founded in 1997 as “the DJ School for Contemporary Music” has recently developed a three-year academic program born out of the recent changes in the music industry. The approach at Muzik is that technology is not only a means to record but an indelible part of the creative act often expressed in electronic music genres such as electro punk minimal techno industrial R&B and funk metal. The school offers courses in traditional topics such as music theory orchestration and arrangement alongside courses in professional home studio creation sound design live performance software self-promotion and management.
