THEY’VE GOT IT COVERED
New York Post – Jul 18, 2007
"I Will Survive" Cake (Gloria Gaynor) Cake never meant this as a joke but alt-hipster fans loved the irony and the song. "Rock el Casbah" Rachid Taha (the Clash) You haven't heard world music until you've heard this Middle Eastern-inflected take on the punk classic. "Sex (I'm A)" Peaches (Berlin) Peaches updates the new-wave classic with a predictably naughty take on an already naughty song. "Caldonia" Mos Def (Cab Calloway) Unpredictable as always the Black Star rapper and actor recorded this swinging jam for HBO's "Lackawanna Blues.

Belfast Telegraph – Jul 18, 2007
The judges don’t need to listen to any of the albums; that is reason enough" he said. "I also like Jamie T he’s one of the freshest things to emerge recently in a gig way. He’s punk rock for the 21st century and puts on a great show. "I remember his show at Auntie Annie’s in Belfast last year when all these kids were going crazy tearing glitter balls from the ceiling and moshing on the tiny dance floor. I’ve never seen anything like it before. " Stephen Curan press officer with Wonderland Promotions said Amy Winehouse was a likely contender to win but his favourite album is Klaxons’ Myths of the Near Future. "The recent history of the Mercury Prize points towards a less high-profile act winning this year.

Crowd wasn’t buying into the action as there was never a sense of the wrestlers in jeopardy to be pinned in the first 10 minutes. That’s the problem with wrestling these days.

New Zealand Herald – Jul 18, 2007
“Everyone comes together with a mutual interest but quite often when you move towns or something your whole focus changes. “Losing interest money issues or tiring of being on the road may have contributed he says. The Mockers had a punk vibe about them but played sing-along music that won them plenty of younger fans around New Zealand. Fagan says touring and living a rock and roll lifestyle was fun but the band got around a lot and eventually started feeling a bit saturated in New Zealand. “We were in a band and that (the fun) was one of the incentives of getting in a band really.
