I conceded that in a recent e-mail exchange. Yes I noted he was not the most technically gifted guitarist in the land but that was not as important when it came to the punk music archetypes he helped create as it was to play with feel just like the old blues masters jazz greats and rock ‘n’ roll’s forebears. This electronic discussion was prompted by the Jan. 6 death of the Iggy and the Stooges guitarist at age 60. He was found dead of an apparent heart attack on his couch in Ann Arbor Mich. where the fun and the fun house began in the late 1960s.

Pants who grew up in Adelaide and comes from a hardcore Punk music background says this event is appealing to the “dirty aspects” of the dance and gay scene. “There a definite void in the gay scene ? you know it’s either clubs and pubs or drag there isn’t really a mix of band performance drag and DJs. Friends of ours in Sydney are putting on warehouse parties with this mix all the time and I guess we’re just putting on something here that we would want to go to. “The Sydney influence is clear. The Blush Foundation and Ghetto Pussy (Vinni and Cherri) are both legends of the underground Sydney dance scene.
