Then came the three-piece North Walian band The Joy Formidable proving popular with students and teenagers alike as they performed indie pop hits. Tracey Healan a regular visitor to the Big Weekend went along with her husband Steve and three-year-old daughter Hollie. “We always come along to support the festival and see what’s new each year” said Tracey from Leckwith Cardiff. “Hollie’s favourite ride has definitely been the carousel – she has had a whale of a time here and would stay all night if she could.
